In Kosova, the Thanksgiving Day – also known in the local traditions as Darka e Lames – begun to be celebrated as a spiritual-cultural heritage act since 2002 after the late President of Kosova, Ibrahim Rugova declared it a State Holiday.
The Kosova Protestant Evangelical Church (KPEC) is going to organize on October 23rd, 2012 the Dinner of the Thanksgiving Day, remembering that God is our Provider and the source of all the blessings in our country. Putting our faith in this truth, we pray for His continuous material and spiritual blessings upon our land.
This dinner will be served with traditional dishes of crops grown in our land. Let’s thank our Lord for all the good come out of this land and for all those who work hard for the sake of this country.
